My love for film is massive, so obviously i want to share my opinion so in my reviews i will score each film now this is nothing unique, its just a score from 1 to 10 and a film will get a score depending on what i think it deserves from what it does well and doesn’t then roughly average these out to get to the final score some of the stuff i am looking for in movies are;
Story: How well the film does to entertain and pull me into the plot. If the story sucks then the film begins to crumble. You can’t have a masterpiece without a good captivating story.
Visuals and Sound: This is all down to the feel of the film. Use of colour, Direction, Sound and Set Design, Music score, Everything that makes the film look beautiful or dreadful.
Acting: Nice and simple. How well is the film is acted and how much I believe that these people could be real people, given the situation they are in.
Replayability: How much I feel can rewatch the film and still thoroughly enjoy and how much I want to watch it again after the first viewing. And also a film that includes subtle things I missed the first time
For my Video game reviews the scoring is the same except what i am looking for is obviously different;
Gameplay: How the games plays and how much fun it is. Also the technical aspect of the game how it runs ect.
Graphics: The look and art style of the game and how impressive it looks overall.
Replayability: Basically how likely would I want to keep playing it after I complete the base game. What is there to keep me coming back.
Narrative/Premise : Story and characters if it’s needed if not it gets a Premise score (What sort of game is it and how it keeps me entertained)
Value: Is it worth the price tag?
